Held Annually at Freedom Park in Charlotte in the Dilworth Neighborhood.
I anticipate getting more involvement from the local magic scene; we have had great talent
amongst our more recent ranks. ALUMNI are encouraged to come out and help with a few of the side
chores that will help our performers a great deal. Get friends to carpool and come out for support.
Be persuasive and ask all those that would like to have a good time and donate their talents to the
club to plan on coming out.
Chris Hannibal and myself will donate use of our sound equipment. Hannibal also is setting up his
theatrical light rack for superb lighting for evening stage shows. And the club will rent a trailer for
secure over-night on-site storage. We also have “Magic Kits” that the club can “give away” with
any donation above a certain amount. And in past years, balloon artists would generate a lot of “Tips”
and would split their take with the club.

Anywhere from 80,000 - 100,000 people usually attend the Festival In The Park, and that’s a

The stage is located on the South/East corner of the Lake. Near the Princeton Road Ballfield.

Due to un-predictabilities, set performer schedules are difficult.
Performers may reserve their time slot, however performers will need to sign-in once
arriving on site at least a half an hour before show time or a fill in may need to fill the slot.
They would like the performers to categorize their material to match our Stage Schedule.
That is “Kid shows”, “Family Shows” or “Primetime”. All performances should be Family Appropriate.
Single magicians should schedule a twenty five minute show and groups should schedule a fifty minute show.
That way we can start on the hour or half hour.
